Alcune aggiunte e correzioni a quanto detto sulle immagini.

2 black_dragonfish, stomatidi, probabilmente Stomia boa il barbiglio è luminoso

4 chimaera_fish, Chimera monstrosa, da alcuni disegni che mostrano il dimorfismo sessuale mi pare sia un esemplare maschio

5 chimaera_pup, sicuramente un altro olocefalo ma non ho trovato il nome della specie

6 coffinfish. Questo specifico esemplare proviene da una spedizione di ricercatori effettuata nel giugno 2003 nelle acque profonde del nord-est della Nuova Zelanda. (volevo riportare il link ma mi sono appena accorto che la pagina è costantemente aggiornata e non so più dove hanno spostato la notizia)

Coffinfishes are flabby bottom-dwelling fishes that occur in deep waters around the world. They can walk along the seafloor on short leg-like fins. These fish often come up in the nets swollen into a ball. Like the pufferfishes, they can swallow large amounts of water to inflate themselves, presumably making it harder for predators to bite into them. The lateral line system (a series of sensory pores that can detect vibrations and chemicals) is very obvious on their smooth bodies. Coffinfishes have a small lure on their head (like their anglerfish relatives), consisting of a short rod and a small glowing bulb at the tip used to lure its prey. The eyes of the fresh fish are speckled with iridescent green looking like a pair of spectacular opals. Our animals are around 20-30 cm long.

Questo non è stato ritrovato dopo uno tsunami. A dire il vero sembrano pesci un pò troppo "integri" per essere stati sballottati da uno tsunami. Se il sito da cui hai preso le foto è quello che credo sappi che non è esattamente il massimo dell'attendibilità...

15 umbrella_mouth_gulper_eel, Eurypharynx pelecanoides, anguilla pellicano, è lunga più di un metro e mezzo vive tra i 3000 e i 6000 m di profondità. Ha sulla punta della coda un organo luminoso.
